CINCINNATI, Ohio – Gensuite LLC is saddened to announce the passing of John C. Sheptor, a member of Gensuite’s Executive Advisory Board, on March 7, 2016.
Mr. Sheptor had an extensive career, holding leadership roles such as CEO, COO, CIO and EVP of Operations across multiple disciplines, including Environment, Safety & Health as well as Quality management. He directly supervised more than 150 manufacturing plants and associated supply chains in 50 countries, giving him unique insights into the regulatory and risk environments in all world regions. Many of his sites achieved VPP Star, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 certifications. An expert in enterprise risk management, operations excellence, and crisis management, with experience spanning agribusiness, food, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, fine chemicals, petrochemical refining, plastics, mining, automotive parts, clean energy, and healthcare industries, he was known for building the foundations for shareholder value gains at multibillion-dollar international companies. Sheptor was a transformative leader and organizational strategist, recognized as an expert in global manufacturing and product and supply chain management, a proficient manager of strategic capital and debt financing, and a seasoned leader in mergers and acquisitions.
Most recently, Sheptor was Chief Executive Officer at Mary’s Gone Crackers, a manufacturer or organic and free-form crackers and snacks.
Serving on Gensuite’s Executive Advisory Board since July 2015, Sheptor shared his experience and insights to assist with the strategic direction of the company. Gensuite leadership worked closely with him to develop and grow key regional markets and industrial sectors through various outreach activities. The Gensuite Team holds Sheptor in the highest regard.
