Since its 2015 launch, the Women in IT Awards series featured women working in technology in London, New York, Ireland and Silicon Valley. In 2019, the series expands to Asia, Berlin and Canada. Gensuite submitted Amanda Petzinger, Senior Director of Growth & Customer Experience for the Young Leader of the Year category. This award is for a female IT, technology or business leader who has progressed rapidly through their career and demonstrates business value and innovation through technology. Amanda led the scoping, development and implementation of digital sustainability applications across several Gensuite subscribing companies. Using the tools that Amanda personally helped initiate, Gensuite subscribers have collectively identified over $100M in potential cost savings and 300+ metric tons of potential carbon dioxide reductions—the equivalent to eliminating greenhouse gas emissions from 65 cars from the road each year. “Amanda encourages, enables and ensures that all levels of the organization are engaged. Her ability to influence team members and customers make her an exceptional part of our team. She embodies all of the qualities that make a great leader,” said Natasha Porter, Executive Vice President & Customer Development Officer.
Gensuite submitted Mia Vetter, Managing Program Director for the Digital Leader of the Year category. This award recognizes digital or business leaders who have demonstrated successful results in digital innovation in the last 18 months. Mia developed and successfully executed two internal Gensuite digital tools in 2018: AHMS Manager and Project Boards. These tools have helped to effectively manage and significantly streamline Gensuite activities across the globe. The development of these two tools has directly impacted the company’s overall sales for the year by saving the company valuable time and providing team members with the tools needed to succeed. Mia also spearheaded the development of the Project Management Team, including its successful launch, oversight and execution, enabling the Gensuite team to ably support sales objectives. Jason Kruger, Gensuite Vice President & IT Operations Executive said, “Mia is one of the hardest working people in this company. Even on days that I am in the office late, Mia stays later. She is a key leader on our team and Gensuite wouldn’t be where it is today without her.”
